Today, I rode the Kurobe Gorge Railway. The railway is a sightseeing train in the Kurobe Gorge located in Toyama Prefecture.

黒部くろべ峡谷きょうこくのトロッコ電車でんしゃに乗のりたくて、今日きょうは富山とやま県けんの宇奈月うなづきにやってきた。

First, I had lunch at the Unazuki Onsen, where I put my feet in the hot springs.

まずは、宇奈月うなづき温泉おんせんでランチを食たべて、足湯あしゆを楽たのしんだ。

I had a Shiroebi Kakiage Don, which is a bowl of rice with crispy tempura shrimp and vegetables. The shrimp is white, small, and very sweet. It’s a famous dish in Toyama.

白しろえびのかき揚あげ丼どんは、富山とやま県けんの名物めいぶつだ。白しろえびは白しろくて少すこし小こぶりで、とても甘あまくておいしかった。

Before taking the train, I visited the Kurobe Hydropower Museum. In the museum I learned about Kurobe Gorge’s nature, the history of the development of hydropower, and how hydropower works. It was really interesting.

トロッコ電車でんしゃに乗のる前まえに、黒部川くろべがわ電気でんき記念きねん館かんに立ち寄た　よった。黒部川くろべがわの電源でんげん開発かいはつや黒部くろべ峡谷きょうこくの自然しぜんと水力すいりょく発電はつでんについて色々いろいろな資料しりょうが展示てんじされていて、思おもっていたよりずっと面白おもしろかった。

I took the train from Unazuki station, but because of the recent Noto earthquake in Ishikawa prefecture, I was only able to go as far as Sasadaira station.

宇奈月うなづき駅えきからトロッコ列車れっしゃに乗のって終点しゅうてんまで行きたかったけど、能登半島地震のとはんとうじしんの被害ひがいで、2024年ねん中ちゅうは全線ぜんせん開通かいつうできなくて、今回こんかいは笹平ささだいら駅えきまでしか行いけなかった。

Kurobe Gorge is famous for its beautiful Autumn leaves. The fresh greenery is also pretty. It’s always great fun to ride on the Kurobe Gorge Railway.

黒部くろべ峡谷きょうこくは、美うつくしい紅葉こうようで有名ゆうめいだけど、新緑しんりょくの季節きせつも美うつくしいと思おもう。トロッコ電車でんしゃはいつ乗のっても楽たのしいしね。

It is also beautiful to see the Spring haze, especially when the cherry blossoms are in bloom.

春霞はるがすみの季節きせつも美うつくしいよ。特とくに桜さくらが咲さいている時ときはね。

Tomorrow, I will take the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route and walk across the top of the Kurobe Dam.

明日あしたは立山たてやま黒部くろべアルペンルートへ。黒部くろべダムの上うえを歩あるく予定よていなんだ。
