I visited Kyushu for the first time. I have been living in Japan for many years, but this is the first time I’ve been to Kyushu. I always wanted to go but it’s a little far from Tokyo, where I live. The farthest west I’d been was Hiroshima, but I never really had time to go to Kyushu.

I checked out Yufuin first, which is very popular among foreign tourists.

Yufuin has many hot springs and there are many shops on the main street. There are many Korean tourists in Yufuin because the area was used in a popular Korean drama. Although there are many people there, if you get away from the main street, there are also very quiet and relaxing spots.



初はじめて九州きゅうしゅうを訪おとずれた。長ながい間あいだ日本にほんに住すんでいるが、九州きゅうしゅうへ行いくのは今回こんかいが初はじめてだ。ずっと九州きゅうしゅうへ行いきたかったけど、東京とうきょうからは少すこし遠とおいし。

なかなか時間じかんが取とれなくて、広島ひろしまより西にしへは行いったことがなかった。僕ぼくは、まず外国人観光客がいこくじんかんこうきゃくに人気にんきの湯布院ゆふいんへ行いくことにした。

湯布院ゆふいんには多おおくの温泉おんせんがあり、メインストリートにはたくさんのお店みせやレストランもある。韓国人かんこくじんの観光客かんこうきゃくが多おおかったのだが、どうも韓国かんこくの人気にんきドラマの舞台ぶたいになったようだ。

たくさんの人ひとが訪おとずれていたけれど、メインストリートから少すこし離はなれれば、とても静しずかでリラックスできる場所ばしょもあったよ。
