I went to the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route today.

今日きょうは立山たてやま黒部くろべアルペンルートを行いくことにした。

I took the Kanden Tunnel Electric Bus from Ougizawa station in Nagano prefecture and headed to Kurobeko station.

長野ながの県けんの扇沢おうぎざわ駅えきから関電かんでんトンネル電気でんきバスに乗のって、黒部湖くろべこ駅えきへ。

I walked around the jetty of the Kurobe Dam. From June 26 to October 15, you can see the discharging of water, but unfortunately when I went, I wasn’t able to see it. Nonetheless, I was able to experience wonderful sights and the beauty of the dam.

黒部くろべダムの突堤とっていを散策さんさくしたんだ。6月26日から10月15日までなら黒部くろべダムの観光かんこう放水ほうすいが見みれるんだけど、残念ざんねんながらまだ4月だから、僕ぼくは見みることができなかった。でも素晴すばらしいダムの光景こうけいと周まわりの景色けしきを楽たのしむことができたよ。

After that, I took a cable car from Kurobeko to Kurobedaira, took a ropeway from Kurobedaira to Daikanbo and then took a trolley bus to Murodo.

その後ご、ケーブルカーで黒部くろべ平だいらへ、ロープウェイで大観峰だいかんぼうへ、そしてトロリーバスで室堂むろどうへ。

Yukino-ōtani（雪の大谷）

There, I went to the snow walls named Yukino-ōtani, which tower anywhere from 15 to 20 meters high. The snow walls are usually open from April 15th to Mid-June, depending on the weather.

室堂むろどうには、15メートルから20メートルもそびえる雪ゆきの壁かべ、通称つうしょう「雪ゆきの大谷おおたに」がある。雪ゆきの壁かべに挟はさまれた道みちを歩あるくことができるんだ。歩あるくことができるのは、天候てんこうにもよるけど、4月中頃なかごろから6月中頃なかごろまでだよ。

The snow was much prettier than I thought it was going to be. It was white and not dirty.

雪ゆきは、僕ぼくが思おもっていたよりずっと美うつくしかった。白しろくて汚よごれてなかったよ。

Walking through the snow walls was more fun than I thought, and all the other tourists seemed to be having a good time as well.

「雪ゆきの大谷おおたにウォーク」は期待きたい以上いじょうに楽たのしかった。他ほかの観光客かんこうきゃくたちも、とても楽たのしんでいたようだ。

After that, I got hungry, so I went to go eat black curry at the Hotel Tateyama. It was tasty!

歩あるいた後あとは、お腹なかがすいたので、ホテル立山たてやまに黒くろカレーを食たべに行いった。とても美味おいしかった。

I then took the Tateyama Highland Bus to Bijodaira station. There I took the cable car and arrived at Tateyama station in Toyama prefecture.

その後あと、立山たてやま高原こうげんバスで美女平びじょだいら駅えきまで行いった。そこでケーブルカーに乗のり、富山とやま県けんの立山たてやま駅えきに着ついた。

From Ogisawa Station in Nagano Prefecture to Tateyama Station in Toyama Prefecture, visitors can enjoy the magnificent nature of Tateyama Kurobe spreading above the clouds through a number of scenic spots.

訪おとずれた人ひとは、長野ながの県けんの扇沢おうぎさわ駅えきから富山とやま県けんの立山たてやま駅えきまで、雲上うんじょうに広ひろがる立山たてやま黒部くろべの雄大ゆうだいな自然しぜんを、数々かずかずの景勝けいしょう地ちで楽たのしむことができる。

I did not stay at Unazuki Onsen this time, but at a resort hotel in Hakuba, Nagano, so I entered from Ogisawa in Nagano Prefecture, but there is another route from Tateyama in Toyama Prefecture.

僕ぼくは今回こんかい宇奈月うなづき温泉おんせんではなく、長野ながの県けん白馬はくばのリゾートホテルに泊とまったので、長野ながの県けんの扇沢おうぎさわから入はいったが、富山とやま県けんの立山たてやまから入はいるルートもある。

I’m glad I was able to see the cherry blossoms on the bus ride back to the bullet train station. April was the most beautiful time for the snow at the Yukino-ōtani as well.

新幹線しんかんせんの駅えきへ向むかうバスの中なかで、桜さくらを見みることができてよかった。雪ゆきの大谷おおたにも、4月が一番いちばん美うつくしいんじゃないかな。
